Short biography

Ivo Fadic (born in Zadar in 1949), after the Secondary school in Zadar attended the Faculty of Law in Zagreb for two years. Back to Zadar he started styding Archaeology and History of art at the Faculty of Philosophy. Upon graduating he first worked at the Music school “Blagoje Bersa” in Zadar, then at the Touristic and Ecconomical school in Zadar - Borik. From 1980 he has worked at the Department of ancient archaeology in the Archaeological museum in Zadar.

Within the frame of the Roman period his main interests are working on the ancient glass, Roman epigraphical monuments in Liburnia and Dalmatia, ancient necropolis, and recently, Roman amber in Liburnia. He took part in numerous archaeological researching (Nin, Diklo, Zadar, Ravni Kotari and Bukovica, Rijeka, Porec, Vis, Kastela......) and in scientific conferences (Zadar, Losinj, Sinj, Pula, Benkovac, Krk, Pag, Kastel Sucurac, Starigrad, Šibenik, Udine, Porec....)
